LCT at the Thomaston Opera House ends its 2019 season with the theatrical production of A Christmas Story running from December 7th through December 22nd, with evening and matinee performances.  

Under the direction of LCT Executive Director, Jeffrey Dunn, follow 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200 shot Range Model air rifle for Christmas. All the iconic scenes from the beloved motion picture are here, including the family’s temperamental exploding furnace; Scut Farkas, the school bully; the boys’ experiment with a wet tongue on a cold flagpole; Ralphie’s father winning a lamp shaped like a woman’s leg in a net stocking; Ralphie’s pink bunny suit, and more. Starring newcomer, Adam Brouker (Thomaston) as young Ralphie and seasoned community theatre veteran, Tim Phillips (Naugatuck) as the story’s narrator, Ralph. Other cast members include Patrick Spadaccino (Middletown) as The Old Man, Kristin Moresi (Avon) as Mother, Hobie Lewis (Woodbury) as Randy, and Cathy Annulli (Thomaston) as Miss Shields. Now showing December 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 at 7 pm and December 8, 15, 22 at 2 pm.
