Discover the natural history of Connecticut’s native owls in LRWC’s Red Barn Education Room as you learn about local nocturnal wildlife and the unique adaptations that allow them to survive and thrive during the darkest hours. Then meet the Conservancy’s North American Barn Owl, Poppy, before heading out into the night.

7:45 pm
Join Director of Aviculture Andrew Ocampo for a short night hike through the Conservancy meadows in search of Screech Owls, Barred Owls, and perhaps even a Great-Horned Owl.
