One-Of-A-Kind Concert Series
For Music Lovers

This Songwriters Series is more than a concert — it’s an experience. The series launches on April 13 at Hunt Hill Farm in New Milford. For all of the music lovers in Litchfield and Fairfield Counties, this unique concert series promises to create one of the best live music experiences in the state of Connecticut, a lofty goal but one that its organizers are committed to achieving.

“I wanted a great place to hear incredible singer/songwriters without having to drive into the city,” says Songwriters Series founder and host, Corey Durkin. “And what we’ve created is an intensely personal, intimate, curated experience where we choose the absolute best and most creative performers to grace our stage.”

The Songwriters Series is a fresh, curator-led approach to live music that promises to deliver high-quality performances with its unique format of improvisation and venue for artistic expression.

At each concert, two singer/songwriters will share the stage and trade songs throughout a two-hour show. And in between songs, they’ll be interviewed to share the stories behind their creations, the details of their writing process and to give the audience a chance to connect with their artistry in a way that is completely unique to the Songwriters Series. The first concert is being hosted at Hunt Hill Farm in their newly-renovated performance and events space which even houses their very own Steinway piano.

The Songwriters Series offers a place for families to enjoy the music but also, in Corey’s words, for “a great date night.” “It can be tough to find really unique and exciting things to do in our state,” Durkin says. “Our team is incredibly excited about creating an environment where couples can come to hear the quality of music that they’d normally have to travel to Manhattan to hear and where kids can be inspired by great musicians to pick up an instrument or continue on their own musical journey.”

Proceeds for this concert go towards Hunt Hill Farm which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to bringing opportunities and experiences to learn and to explore music, arts, and food in the local Litchfield County community.
