The Byrde + the b is pleased to announce the opening of two
extraordinary artists: Jivan Wolf and Robert Deyber.

Jivan Wolf hand fabricates jewelry and jewelry power pieces in high
karat gold with semiprecious and precious gems, natural minerals and
crystals. Jivan Wolf, a current resident of New York and Los Angeles,
studied design at the University of Paris. Trained in metaphysics and
healing, she developed a passionate interest in the powers of the
mineral kingdom, especially gemstones. Jivanalso studied the ancient
classical methods of jewelry fabrication of Egypt. She has
masterfully combined her interests into exquisite, one of a kind
tour-de-forces of spectacular objects of beauty.

Robert Deyber is an American artist most known for literal visual
portrayals of cliches, euphemisms and idioms from the English and
other languages. The San Francisco Examiner described him as a “pop
surrealist” whose style “has appeal for new as well as experienced
collectors.” His work relates to that of Thomas Cole and Frederic
Church of the Hudson River School, surrealists like Salvador Dalí and
René Magritte, naive painter Henri Rousseau, the colorists Henri
Matisse and Marc Chagall, and Andy Warhol. Deyber paints his own
scenes from the prose that peppers the English lexicon. His works
range from literal translations of fanciful sayings to good humored
depictions of everyday terminology.
