Twelve Moons Coffee House will feature Anthony Troy, a solo finger style guitarist. Anthony has accomplished more in six years as a musician, composer and teacher than many have in a lifetime. Anthony studied under Andrew Lardner and John Stropes ( at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee which is the only program in the world to hold a B.F.A. in Finger-Style Guitar. During his first semester of UWM, Anthony was offered a T.A. position in Dr. Beverly Belfer’s Introduction to Guitar Course teaching 100+ students weekly. He was hand selected to score the film “Lost” written by Michael Chen (MTV,CBS) which won both the “Best Film” and “People’s Choice Award” at VISFF and MSFF in 2016. He was accepted to perform at both Summer and Winter NAMM of 2015,16 and 17 after submitting his YouTube video “Living on a Prayer” to the NAMM foundation. In 2016 he was signed by FRETMONKEY RECORDS, a record label consisting of 24 artists from a span of 13 countries. Anthony has performed and attended master classes with renowned guitarists Don Ross, Andy McKee, Calum Graham, Antoine Dufour, Billy McLaughlin, Pino Forasterie, Pierre Bensuan and Alex De Grassi. Currently, he is endorsed by Stonebridge Guitars, John Pearse Strings, G7th Capos and Elite Acoustics (Sunburst Gear). When Anthony is not on the road, he teaches private guitar lessons full time at a music school and through his business ART Guitar Lessons.
